Quran 3:159

— Hamidullah

So by mercy from Allah, [O Muhammad], you were lenient with them. And if you had been rude [in speech] and harsh in heart, they would have disbanded from about you. So pardon them and ask forgiveness for them and consult them in the matter. And when you have decided, then rely upon Allah. Indeed, Allah loves those who rely [upon Him].

— Sahih International

Matthew 6:24

— Louis Segond, 1910

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

— King James Version

Bhagavad Gita 18:63

iti te j~nAnamAkhyAtaM guhyAd.hguhyataraM mayA |
vimR^ishyaitadasheSheNa yathechChasi tathA kuru

Thus hath been opened thee
This Truth of Truths, the Mystery more hid
Than any secret mystery. Meditate!
And--as thou wilt--then act!

— Edwin Arnold, 1900 (poetic rendering; passage located by content, Arnold does not number verses)

Whispers

Whisper of 2015-04-26, 10:00 — Babuji

— Message du Monde Lumineux (Babuji Maharaj)

Let this ardent flame burn in you – it is your motivation here below. Isn't love at that level decisive in any such action! Following a spiritual path entails commitment on the material plane, but not only that. Love, such love, is what is most important. It drives the inner being in a process that meets its deepest aspirations; these can take one very far when properly recognised and honoured.

It often takes time to understand, to truly understand oneself and to manage to let go of the superfluous, which indeed hampers one's evolution. The seeker must make choices; when wisdom manages to prevail, everything becomes clearer. There is no time to waste, a lifetime is short. The opportunity is offered to everyone to progress, to broaden their knowledge, and above all to find their way – the one in which their deep spiritual aspirations can flourish and fulfil a heart in need.

For many fervent beings, this Sahaj Marg Mission meets such expectations. The way of the heart, is it not wisdom itself! In all simplicity it achieves what is best, and everyone receives according to their yearning. In this, love is the redeeming energy. It accomplishes what does not seem possible, and yet we can see the results in our abhyasis: they are advancing according to their wishes and commitment. Everything is possible; one has to believe in it and, above all, to want it.

Blessings to all.
